From the 60s to the 90s, “The Coliseum” was a regular stop for the NWA/AWA/USWA/CWA grapplers. Notable characters such as “Superstar” Bill Dundee, “The Rock N’ Roll Express” Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson, Brian “Grand Master Sexxay” Christopher, “Dangerous” Doug Gilbert, and Jamie “J.C. Ice” Dundee have entertained fans around the tri-state area, giving what is arguably known as the best wrestling in the history of the business.  All of these stars, along with former WWE Tag Team Champion, one half of the New Age Outlaws of Degeneration X, Brian “Road Dogg Jesse” James, as well as some of the best talent the local area has to offer, such as Johnny Punch and Rudy Switchblade (collectively known as “Knuckles & Knives”), Cody Strong, and “Superb” Scott Sexton.

“This area is full of wrestling history,” Jamie Dundee states, “and I wanted to bring back the memories of it by having these pro wrestlers come back and remind people what made them love professional wrestling in the first place with a setting that is up close and personal, and give people time to meet some of their heroes and have new memories. As long as it is a success, we will continue to run these ‘Legend Showdown’ shows once a month, as well as CCW running their shows weekly on Wednesday nights for those people who need their professional wrestling more often.”

Tickets are available at the door for $20.00 Ringside, and $15.00 General Admission, with advance tickets available by calling the Jamie Dundee wrestling school at (270) 577-1823. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and Bell Time is 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.jamiedundee.com.

“As with last month’s ‘Legends Showdown,’” Jamie says, “this event promises to be great time for the entire family, so bring yourself, your spouse, the kids, and your momma and daddy to see some of your favorites of yesterday and today.”
