December 14 – Broadway at the Centre: South Pacific
Based on the 2008 Tony Award winning Lincoln Centre Theatre Production, this musical tells the sweeping romantic story of two couples set on a tropical island during World War II and how their happiness is threatened by the realities of war and by their own prejudices. The beloved score includes such memorable songs as "Some Enchanting Evening," "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair," "This Nearly Was Mine," and "There is Nothin' like a Dame." December 2 & 3, 9 - 11, 16 – 18 – It’s a Wonderful Life: The Radio Play

Transport yourself back to the bygone days of classic radio shows in this live radio play adaptation of the classic Frank Capra film. This unique experience is part stage play and part Prairie Home Companion. Civic Theatre will transform into a 1940’s Radio Music Hall with actors playing multiple roles and Foley artists creating sound effects – just like the good old days. The show time for the Sunday dates is 2:00 p.m. For all other performances, the curtains will rise at 8:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the box or by phone.

December 2 – Police Adjective
Composed of long, uninterrupted takes with a minimum of dialogue, the structure of Police Adjective offers an accurate depiction of police procedure within the confines of a feature film in which a young undercover cop undergoes a crisis of conscience when he is pressured to arrest a teenager. December 9 – The Good, the Bad, and the Weird
Set in WWII-era Manchuria, this wild, irreverent re-make of the classic 1966 Sergio Leone film pits a manic outlaw, a nasty holy man, and a determined bounty hunter against each other alongside some Chinese gangsters and the Japanese army in hot pursuit of a treasure map and hurls them toward a showdown in the desert.
