• Ongoing at Willard Library – the Adele & Paul Torian Native American Leaders of the Mid-19th Century exhibition. This permanent exhibit features three rare volumes of Thomas L. McKenney’s History of the Indian Tribes of North America, which was published in 1838, 1842 and 1844. The folio-sized books are in the Adult Services Department. • November 11 through January 20: Evansville Museum – “Ice Age Indiana.” A paleontologist’s or natural history buff’s dream – an exploration of the more recent Ice Age as it affected the area. Call 425-2406 for more information.

• November 17 through January 31: New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art – Andy Warhol’s Silver Clouds. •Through January 6: Evansville Museum – “Object Project.” Found in the Old Gallery of the Museum, Object Project represents two years of work by fifteen contemporary realist artists from across the US. The ground rules for the artists were simple: use five everyday common objects in either one multipanel work or in two separate paintings. Artists participating in this unique exhibit are (in alphabetical order) Steven Assael, Michael Bergt, Debra Bermingham, Deborah Deichler, Rob Evans, Scott Fraser, F. Scott Hess, Robert C. • November 4: Children’s Museum of Evansville – “Storytelling Time.” Well-known storyteller Lola Teubert shares stories to spark imaginations in the Freedom Gallery at 2:00. Ring 464-cMoe for more info.
• November 10: Executive Inn/Children’s Museum of Evansville – Join us at the Executive Inn for a fun-filled Saturday morning. "Breakfast with the Sugar Plum Fairy" is a brunch and style show that will highlight a scene from The Nutcracker performed by the Evansville Dance Theatre. There will also be a silent auction and all children in attendance will receive a treat. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville. • November 18: Downtown Evansville – 19th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade. This classic kick-off to the Christmas season sees fun for all ages – especially the little ones who get to see Santa Claus live and in person. Pre-parade activities will be held at the park located at the corner of 4th and Main and will include pictures with Santa, arts and crafts and more. The parade will begin at 3 p.m.
• November 25: Children’s Museum of Evansville – “Good & Yucky Secrets.” Local author Laura Ellsworth will share safety tips for children and their parents as she presents "Good and Yucky Secrets" in the Freedom Gallery. Begins at 2 p.m.
