N4U: What does the name Whydhe Write mean? Where did it
come from?
WW: Lemme break it down "Why-did- he-Write." The
constant nagging of people for the last eight years over and over, "why do
you do that?!"
Who have been some of your influences, musically, over the years?
Tupac, Eminem, Ma$e, Ludacris, Outkast and Mystikal, to name
a few.
The new album is self titled, and comes out June 4th… What’s the concept of the
project?
The concept? [hahaha] Answers are in the music.
Who produced? Are there any guests?
My beats were produced by Max-B (ya dig) and J.J. of WSM.
This album features raw talent such as Bradley-T (what up Champ?!), Laudi,
Lil'Ace, Loc The Great, Rayne, and WSM.
You and your wife just had your first child. How does that affect the way you
approach your music?
My approach to music is no different. It's always family
first and let the rest do what it do.
Freestyle, booth, or stage?
The stage, baby! That's how Whydhe Write gets down! Not a
better feeling in the world! All eyes are on you. Sink or swim, what!?
